U3A Gardening Group 1

Programme 2010

9th AprilMeeting Putnoe Heights church

10th April  Buckingham Palace Gardens(for those who have booked)

            8.30 Tesco or 8.45 Sainsbury’s Pickups Please let me know which if

           you have not already done so. You will need  TWO items of

                  identification; a photo ID and a utility bill for examination at entry for

                        each person.

                        Bus passes & Travel cards are Not acceptable.

7th May    Meeting Putnoe Heights Church

23rd JuneVisit to Hidcote Manor Gardens. Cost about £24.

2nd July   Group Garden Party. Chris has very kindly invited us to her garden for

           this and will give directions to her home nearer the time.

August     No Meeting

3rd Sept   Meeting Putnoe Heights Church

1st Oct      MeetingPutnoe Heights Church

5th Nov     Meeting Putnoe Heights Church

Dec     Christmas lunch. Venue to be decided

Some points - Could you please help with putting chairs away after the meeting. A suggestion has been made that it would be useful for a list of members and contacts including addresses to be circulated within the group. If anyone has a problem with this and does not want to please let us know.

Plant Sale on 18th May at Addison Centre and 2nd June at the Athletic was very successful.   The proceeds from these sales went to U3A funds to help towards the groups expenses such as room rent.
