In Marston Vale forest at Cotton End, the Neanderthal Man we found stranded, posed a serious problem for the Short Walks Group. We all discussed what to do, but using the same resourcefulness which stood us in such good stead with the drowning fisherman, we decided to take him to the Salvation Army.
