the Mosquito at the Museum
The de Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre, is a volunteer-run aviation museum in London Colney, Hertfordshire. The collection is based around the definitive prototype and restoration shops for the de Havilland Mosquito and also includes several examples of the de Havilland Vampire - the third operational jet aircraft in the world as well as many other aircraft built by de Havilland.

The site is on the estate of Salisbury Hall which was built in 1507 and has an interesting history.If you would like to read about the Museum, click the link below.

After visiting the Museum,we went into St Albans for lunch and free time. There was much to see: the cathedral,Verulamium Museum, which is on the site of one of the major cities in Roman Britain and for shopaholics ,the weekly market  and good shops.
