After a short tour of Hertfordshire villages, we stopped for coffee at Ware.
Some of us opted for coffee in the local church hall and were surprised to meet members of Ware U3A who were holding an Open New Members morning there. They found it a good way for prospective new members to 'sample the goods'.Their membership is similar to ours at 750 and they hold their Open Meetings at the Leisure Centre.
