We met our guide Jo Broadey at Stratford and went from there on a tour around the periphery of the 500 acre Olympic site so that we could get a general idea of layout.For the close up view of the Stadium and Aquatics centre, we drove to the Marshgate Lane entrance and looked across from a position near the View Tube.

The Media Centre will house 20,000 international  journalists. and will be as long as Canada Tower at Canary Wharf is tall.It is over on the right  lower but not sure which building as map is so small.I cannot see the Velodrome either  which is on the North side near the Basketball arena.

The site covers parts of five boroughs. There has been excellent collaboration between them.
